Idaho Springs isn’t in Idaho

Idaho Springs has a growing population of 1,893 and is the largest town in Clear Creek County. Approximately ten miles from Evergreen, Colorado, the town of Idaho Springs and the surrounding county area offer many recreational possibilities, opportunities to explore local history, shopping, restaurants, and more.

If you’ve never been to Idaho Springs, it is an enjoyable and easy day trip with opportunities for the whole family to explore, relax and have great fun! It’s just a scant ten miles west on I-70 from Evergreen Parkway. Or, if you’re heading there from Evergreen, you can follow CO-74 north, taking a left onto Co Rd 65 and following the road for about two-and-a-half miles. Take another left onto US-40 W, until it merges with I-70. Another five-and-a-half miles brings you to Idaho Springs. Pack your family in the car, put your adventurous spirit on, and come and see what we have to offer.
