The Kindness of Friends

You cannot do a kindness too soon

because you never know how soon it will be too late.

 ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

Something we’re thankful for here in the mountains is the kindness of friends and neighbors. We know how to come together and help each other. Is that a product of mountain living, small town life, or just living in the special place we call Idaho Springs? Maybe it’s a bit of all three, but here we know how to offer kindness and receive kindness. We know the meaning of community. And we’re thankful for good neighbors.
